Produced by Ghost Rider Pictures and directed by Louisiana filmmaker Steven Scaffidi, Forgotten on the Bayou tells the inspirational true story of Rockey Vaccarella who survived Hurricane Katrina by holding on to a rope on the rooftop of his home.

After losing everything in the storm, Rockey hooked up his FEMA trailer and drove to the White House in an attempt to meet with President Bush and call attention to the unfinished job in the areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
